What mesh size is generally used for making stick incense?

For stick incense, 80-mesh or 100-mesh is generally sufficient. If making incense sticks below 1.5mm, a 120-mesh sieve is recommended. An 80-mesh sieve is suitable for incense sticks above 2.5mm, while a 100-mesh sieve is ideal for sticks between 1.5mm and 2.5mm.

Are the base and lid necessary?

The base and lid are universal accessories. They are recommended to reduce dust dispersion and maintain a cleaner working environment. One set of base and lid can be paired with multiple sieves of different mesh sizes, making them versatile and cost-effective.

What material is the sieve made of?

The sieve body consists of a 304 stainless steel ring and stainless steel mesh. The base and lid are made of galvanized iron. The sieve body is of high quality, featuring a seamless stainless steel stamping design, and is export-grade.

What is the finest mesh available?

The most commonly used mesh sizes for incense making are 60, 80, 100, and 120. Finer meshes struggle to sift powder effectively. The finest available mesh is 7200, but it is impractical for incense production and never used in actual practice.
